About Us
Vale Vipers is a basketball club based in Barry and Cowbridge that accommodates boys and girls aged 5 –18 years old. We currently have over 150 playing members that play competitive basketball across the whole of Wales and the South West of England. Formed in 2010, we deliver both Performance and Community activities to the young people of South Wales.

Mission
To teach, develop, organise, manage and offer players the opportunity to learn the fundamental skills of basketball while instilling life-lessons and values such as character, team work, discipline, respect and sportsmanship.
Vision
To ensure the club is at the forefront of basketball development, developing age groups to allow and fulfil talent, whilst ensuring Basketball is used as a tool for social growth across all aspects of life and so that we stay true to our core values on and off the court. The club values are demonstrated across the organisation. We believe in integrity, respect, doing the right thing and enabling young people to reach their full potential on and off the basketball court. The club programme exposes and offers players a high level of competition while developing fundamental basketball skills. Player development is stressed and disciplined, team-oriented play is emphasised. Practice time and advanced training are provided to enhance the skills of each player with the end goal being to make them a better player.
